Davido Announces Three-Night Concert Residency at National Theatre in Lagos
Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced a three-night concert residency at the National Theatre in Lagos.
The concert series, titled “Oriadè: The Residency,” is scheduled to take place from December 17 to December 19, 2026, giving fans three consecutive nights of live performances from the award-winning singer.
Davido announced the project on his verified Instagram page on September 18, describing the event as a return to Lagos as he celebrates 15 years in the music industry.
Oriadè: The Residency
The upcoming residency takes its name from Davido's 2026 album, Oriadè.
The Yoruba-inspired title combines ori, meaning “head” or “destiny,” and adé, meaning “crown.” The album was released on July 31, 2026, as Davido's sixth studio album.
The 13-track project features collaborations with artists including Black Sherif, Mayorkun, Fola, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura and Llona.
The Lagos residency will therefore connect Davido's current album era with a major live-performance event in his home country.
Three Consecutive Nights in Lagos
Unlike a single concert date, the announcement covers three consecutive nights at the National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos.
